Sarah Kruzan: 16 Year Old Sentenced to Life in Prison

Ok. My thoughts on this one are going to be iffy.

The Pro...My whole thing is...If you do the crime, you do the time!!! Although she said she was faced with prostitution because her mother was a drug addict, she ALSO said that she was always an over-achiever at school. This means that she had to have been smart. She was making the Principal's honor roll etc. As a smart young girl she didn't have to go to prostitution, there were other ways out. ESPECIALLY through school.

On the other hand, at the young age in which she committed the crime-- she was unaware of the repercussions. I understand that she was going through a lot and being abused..Anyone would have snapped. So I understand where homegirl is coming from. She probably didn't think she was going to be tried as an adult. Smh, I'm sure the jury who was on this case was stressing HARD!!!! The poor girl didn't even get a chance to have a childhood.
